‘No-brainers’ 💡 for Physical / Mental Health: Magnesium, Omega-3 , C, D, Iodine in “Make-it-Happen” smoothie

Delicious and nutritious Granola

Prepare and bake oats

Melt:

  • ½ C honey
  • 6 T butter

Add:

  • 1½ tsp. sea salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Add to a very large baking bowl:

  • 9 C Old-fashioned oats
  • ½ C unsweetened shredded coconut

Stir in melted liquid and evenly coat the oats

Bake the now coated oats:  in large air fryer or on a large baking tray in a 375 deg F oven for about 15 mins. – stirring every few minutes to barely brown evenly. Keep an eye on it – burns easily if not frequently turned over. Allow to cool.

Prepare and mix the nuts, seeds, dried fruits +++

Use a very large baking bowl to mix:

1½ C Ground flaxseed

½ C each:

  • Pecans (pieces)
  • Almonds (slivered)
  • Walnuts (pieces)
  • Unsweetened coconut (flakes / shredded)
  • Chopped dates
  • Chopped dried apricots
  • Cranraisins / Raisins
  • Golden raisins
  • Sunflower seeds
  • Pumpkin seeds (raw, without husks)

Optionally add:

  • ¼ C Orange peel (dried, chopped small)
  • ¼ C Bee pollen
  • ½ C Nutritional yeast (supplies B-vitamins)

Add cooled baked oats and thoroughly mix.

Store in airtight ziplock bags or container.
