What is H2O2 therapy ?
H2O2  therapy is a powerful, inexpensive biooxidative therapy where hydrogen peroxide is used topically or introduced into the body of humans (or pets) to improve or solve health problems:
- H2O2 can produce strongly reactive oxidants having the oxidative ability to eliminate toxins and microbial infection -even though it is not an especially reactive molecule itself;
- H2O2 significantly increases oxygen levels in the blood -which increases cellular energy production
- H2O2Â improves immune system function
Exception: it can not be used by those who have had an organ transplant – the reason for this is that H2O2 therapy boosts immune system function, which could cause it to reject a transplant organ;

- H2O2Â is found in rain and snow.
- H2O2 content is naturally high in famous healing spring waters – at Lourdes in France, Fatima in Portugal, and St. Anne’s in Quebec
- H2O2 is in fresh fruit and vegetables (some coming from rain, some manufactured from sun and water during photosynthesis). Eating raw fruits and vegetables ensures that we get H2O2 into our bodies, along with valuable enzymes;

All higher life-forms purposefully form H2O2 in the body – peroxisomes in the cell do this by combining water with oxygen. H2O2 has many functions:

* Candida:In the colon, acidophilus lactobacillus produces H2O2 which keeps the ever-present candida yeast from multiplying out of control. When candida spreads out of the intestine, it escapes the natural control system and can establish itself in the body’s organs, causing chronic fatigue syndrome and allergic hypersensitivity.

Animals – 1 ounce 3% H2O2 per quart of animal’s non-chlorinated drinking water is not enough to taste unpleasant, yet knocks out a growing list of illnesses. Cats are cured of feline leukemia and chlamydia, and return to their old energetic selves. Distemper in dogs has been reversed with H2O2, and a growing number of farmers are applying it to their livestock to cut losses from disease and infected wounds. Sick cattle reportedly benefit from 1 pint 3% H2O2 to each 5 gallons of water. (Chickens and cows have remained healthy by using 8 ounces of 35% H2O2 per 1,000 gallons of drinking water).
H2O2 Household / Personal Uses
- Water Purification – Add 7 drops of 35% H2O2 to a gallon of drinking water and shake well topurify it and give it a pleasant waterfall-like flavor.
- Toothpaste –Use 3% H2O2 mixed with baking soda. Or, just dip your brush in 3% H2O2 and brush.
- Vegetable / Fruit Spray – To remove pesticides, spray with a 3% H2O2 and then rinse.
- Dishwasher – Add 2 oz (¼ Cup) of 3% H2O2 to the regular washing formula.
- Washing Machine – Add 8 oz (1 Cup) of 3% H2O2 to the wash in place of bleach.
- Milk Preservation – H2O2 is added to milk in several countries, to remove the need for refrigeration. Add 2 oz (¼Cup) of 3% H2O2 to a gallon of milk to keep it fresh for up to 24 hours without refrigeration at room temperature (20-30C).
H2O2Â Horticultural Uses
- It is the hydrogen peroxide in rainwater that makes it much more effective than tap water when given to plants.  Increasing levels of atmospheric pollution are, however, causing greater amounts of H2O2 to react with air-borne toxins and never reach the ground
- Increased crop yields – Farmers increase crop yields by spraying them with diluted H2O2 ( 5 -16 ounces of 35% H2O2 mixed with 20 gallons of water per acre;)
- House Plants – Improve your house plants by adding 2 Tbsp. (1 oz.) 3% H2O2 (or 16 drops of 35% H2O2) to every quart of water you give your plants;
- Seed Germination – Seeds germinate faster, with bigger sprouts, when they are first soaked in 1 ounce of 3% H2O2 to 1 pint of water.
- Safe Insecticide – Spray your plants with 8 ounces of 3% H2O2mixed with 8 ounces of white sugar and 1 gallon of water.

In nature – By combining water with oxygen – By adding 2 electrons to molecular oxygen

In biological systems
(1) By 2 Superoxides joining Together
O2•–+ O2•– + 2H+ → H2O2 + 3 O2
Or
(2) By Antibodies – which generate H2O2 from singlet oxygen ( 1O2*) using H2O (antibodies provide electron source in a catalytic process – possibly as a protective mechanism against 1O2*)

The active ability of H2O2
H2O2 is neutrally charged, and can diffuse deeply into cells – H2O2 <span;>is actually considered a poorly reactive non-radical, but its “strength” lies in the extremely reactive Hydroxyl Radical (OH•)it can produce:</span;>
- Hydroxyl radical (OH•) produced from H2O2 by:
- H2O2Â oxidation of transition metal ions (especially iron contained in hemoglobin)
H2O2 + Fe2+ → OH• + OH– + Fe3+ (known as the Fenton reaction)
- H2O2 reacting with Photon or Electron Energy (i.e. Reduction of H2O2)
H2O2 +e– → OH• + OH–
The OH• radical is a potent biological oxidant capable of destroying toxins and microbial infection. Almost every time the hydroxyl radical bumps into another molecule it pulls off a hydrogen atom to then become harmless water, while simultaneously producing another radical in what is left of the other molecule.
