AIR /OXYGEN -“The Breath of Life”

#1 requirement in the body

TRY NOT BREATHING FOR A FEW MINUTES! 🙂

Oxygen is one of the four most abundant elements.   49.2% of Earth’s crust (by weight), 85% of sea water, 42% of all vegetation and over 62% of the human body!   The most stable form of oxygen is two oxygen atoms combined to form the 3O2 molecule. This is the form we breathe and the form that our healthy cells use to create energy.

90% of our body’s energy is derived from oxygen.  Optimal cellular energy production is essential to promote proper cell function. Availability of oxygen in the mitochondria is the rate limiting step in ATP energy production, and therefore the health limiting issue for most people.

The body uses oxygen to “burn up” (oxidize) toxins.  Wastes combine with oxygen for removal from the body

Our brain requires 20% of our body’s oxygen needs

 Oxygen improves skin

  • Aids in healing of damaged skin
  • Natural detoxification of skin cells
  • Reduces inflammation
  • Detoxification of cellular tissues
  • Acts as an antibacterial environment
  • Helps strengthen elastic fibers and collagen

How to improve oxygen presence in the body

Breathe fresh clean air

Bring fresh air into your home or workplace.  Turn off the air conditioning or heat and open the windows!

Install an ozone / negative ion air purifier system.  Oxygenates/ purifies the air.

Spend time outdoors.  Visit the ocean, mountains and countryside, which all contain a high level of beneficial negative oxygen ions, useable by the body for energy.

Negative Oxygen Ion Therapy

Detoxify the body

“Dirty” blood cannot efficiently carry oxygen.    This is most effectively achieved using electrotherapy (E.g. ozone therapy, RIFE RESONANCE therapy, Beck Protocol), or hydrogen peroxide therapy. As an additional benefit, the bioxidative therapies (Ozone, hydrogen peroxide) increase oxygen release from red blood cells and improve immune system function

Bio-oxidative Therapy – A Paradox

Oxygen supplementation

Oxygen breathing apparatus can be applied using facial mask.  2 to 3 drops of essential oils can be added to humidifier bottle to deal with specific problems.

Hyperbaric Oxygen.   High-pressure oxygen is delivered to the body in a hyperbaric chamber.

 Deep Breathing Exercises

Use the diaphragm, filling the lungs from the bottom to the top. Also exhale completely.   The average pair of lungs can expand to a volume of ~ 5,000 cc, yet most of us normally use less than a third of this capacity. Breathing is an involuntary bodily function, but it can also be consciously controlled with good breathing habits. Is your breathing slow and deep, or quick and shallow? Is your belly expanding and contracting, or is your chest doing all the work? When you inhale from the belly by expanding your diaphragm, more air is drawn into the lowest portion of your lungs where much of the oxygen absorption takes place. Belly breathing requires less muscular energy and taking fewer breaths than chest breathing.

Try this exercise to improve your lung capacity:

Breathe in 4 counts, Hold 12 counts, Breathe out 8 counts

(repeat 10 times 2-3 times per day)

Chronic low-level inflammation

Electrotherapy
