How to Nebulize Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2)

Nebulizing treatment accesses sinuses, throat, bronchial tract and lungs

Nebulization is the best method of application for safely using an effective treatment substance against lung and sinus-related infections.  Breathing the treatment substance into the lungs enables direct contact with any disease-causing viruses, bacteria, fungi and/or toxins involved in:

  • Colds/ flus
  • Sinusitis
  • Bronchitis
  • Sore/Strep throat
  • COPD infections
  • Pneumonia
  • Throat or lung cancer

General information on nebulizing alternative medicines

A nebulizer can usually be found at your local pharmacy or online

Hydrogen peroxide therapy

Bio-oxidative and oxygenative hydrogen peroxide therapy is used to:

  • Oxidize pathogenic microorganisms and toxins
  • Cause red blood cells to increase oxygen release into tissues – for improved cellular energy production.
  • Can diffuse deeply into cells (due to its neutral electrical charge)

Alternative to IV delivery – Any nebulized substance enters bloodstream. Nebulization provides an at-home / inexpensive alternative for IV peroxide delivery into the bloodstream – Being almost as effective, nebulized H2O2 will not only contact the lungs, it will also enter the bloodstream via the rich network of blood vessels in the lungs, providing a systemic bio-oxidative therapy, which also improves immune system function.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Therapy

Nebulizing H2O2 requires a 3% dilution of food grade hydrogen peroxide

For internal use you need to use FOOD GRADE H2O2 –  since typical store-bought, pharmaceutical grade 3% H2O2 contains stabilizing chemicals, which you do not want in your body. You can purchase this ready-to-use or make your own from a 35% solution

How to obtain a 3% FOOD GRADE Hydrogen Peroxide solution from a 35% solution for internal use

3% FOOD GRADE H2O2 MUST BE FURTHER DILUTED for use in a nebulizer:

  • As a preventative to keep infections at bay / promote healing.  Add 0.5 ml (cc)(or ~12 drops if using a dropper) to a nebulizer filled with 5 ml (cc) distilled water. Use once a day or as often as you feel the need
  • To fight a lung, bronchial or sinus infection or to get H2O2 into the body for a systemic treatment.  Add an amount (see below) of 3% H2O2 to a nebulizer filled with 5ml (cc) distilled water. Use several times / day as convenient.

The lowest effective dose is ~0.5 ml (cc) or ~ 12 drops (if using a dropper) in 5 ml (cc) distilled water for about 3 minutes.  As a guideline: 1 ml usually contains about 25 drops, but obviously varies with different droppers. If this is your first time using this therapy, use this dose (or even less) to test your reaction.

Increase dose as tolerated up to a maximum 2.0 ml (cc) in 5 ml (cc) distilled water for up to about 10 minutes (maximum dose determined from anecdotal reports)

Caution to smokers, the very sick and users of any drugs in the lungs

Caution must be exercised by smokers and individuals who have used prescription and nonprescription drugs in their lungs, and those who are very sick –  If H2O2 solution is too strong, the H2O2 reaction with a heavy contaminant or microbial presence could promote tissue-damaging inflammation in the lungs and a potentially dangerous systemic “die-off” effect, called the Herxheimer Reaction

The following symptoms after nebulizing indicate that you are using too strong a solution:

  • Flu-like symptoms;
  • Headache;
  • Fever;
  • Diarrhea;
  • Fatigue

Chronic low-level inflammation

Electrotherapy
